Arowana Tankmates (catfish)

Hello everyone,
I was wondering what kind of catfish I could keep with my silver arowana.
I had the pangasius catfish in mind.
Also what other types of fish could live with a silver arowana?

depends... i kept pimelodus blochii or four line cats with the first aro ive kept with no problems.

hi.. if you are thinking about a glass / acrylic tank then don't do the pangasius.. pangasius are easily spooked and nearly blind.. they will swim very fast and bump into the glass, injuring themselves and spooking the aros.. and their growth will be stunted most of the times.. if your aro is smaller than 8" i'd recommend keeping it alone.. check out on smaller non aggressive catfish probably..

Best to just grow him out to 10-11" before adding any tankmates
