Hi,
Would 84 degrees be too much for a jardini arow to handle(permanently) would there be any "bad results from this? thanks

28-29C is ideal. 30 is ok too. i wouldnt go over 32.
only thing with higher temps is to make sure water is clean.
so may be better to run under 28C.
so if it gets unclean then lower the temp till water gets better cause ammonia is more toxic at higher temp and higher pH.

i read on a website that it should be around 72 - 80° F. if above, it may reduce the life span of a jardini. Is this true? please help

all right that's awesome. thanks

84 is fine

I wouldn't advice going below 78... Because 72 is a few degrees off from being in a chilly tank of 70 degrees...

During my earlier Arowana keeping.. i had my young Arowana in a 60gallon in 70-72 degrees.. the next day he sank the the bottom and was dying... Luckily i put him back into a warmer tank and he was fine within a few hours..

ANYWAYS.. 72 degrees is too cold in my opinion.. 84 is fine if u can keep the heater running stable..
