arowana trouble

my silver arowana is swimming with its tail hanging down.
anyone know what it is?

how long has it been in the tank and how well is it eating? also what is the temp
sounds like he is stressed.

ive had it for about 5 or 6 months but the temperature has been messing up lately

get the temp stable and see what happens. he may be unhappy because of temp changes. is he eating? Usually if they are eating they are still ok, maybe just not thrilled.

its not eating at all and it looks like his slime coat is comeing off.
i put it slime coat medicine already though.

Are all the other fishes in that tank ok? Hope your silver gets better!

Id get the temp stable asap, also stress coat is a good choice but it sounds like you already added some. if you can post a pic please do.

As rallyman says, stable temp should do it. And add some water conditioner like Aqutan.

And when changing water, make sure the new water temp is nearly the same as the water in the tank.

I already put stress coat medicine in and he seems to be doing better he swims normal but it he keeps his long fins on the top and bottom down.those fins also look like they are loosing the webbing stuff in between them.
