I hope I'm not kicking a hornet's nest here. I'd like to get some feedback on vendors known to produce top quality Asian arowana. I know these fish can run into the tens of thousands of dollars. I'm just looking for reputable farms known to produce top quality fish. I've read lots and keep hearing about MerLion arowana (good Dreamfish marketing?), and "AAA"s from other vendors. I'd just like to know who is consistently known to produce nice fish. I'm interested in a crossback or a red...still undecided. Please feel free to PM me if this thread heats up. That's not my intent. Just trying to learn as much as I can before buying one of these very expensive fish. Thanks.
I'm not sure if the pang longs they brought in are worth the price. And I think I may be looking for something a little higher end anyways. I wish Koji was around to tell me more about them. He would likely know. I'll probably end up importing my own fish once I figure out what I want, although I did also talk to Riverfront about tagging on to their next order.
