My have a five inch young juv jardini. Everytime i turn the canopy lights on 55gallon. It would just stay on the
Bottom in the exact same spot until i turn the lights off. I mean for hours.

Same goes if i open the window shades to let the lights in the room but not as bad as canopy lights. Its not even that bright like direct sunlight

Any suggestions ? I had him for about a week or so.

How long have you had it? That behavior is common. I've had one Jardini sit on the bottom unless I was feeding or sitting in front of the tank for a while. Eventually he stopped. The same exact behavior for my 1st and current RTG.

Try adding some floating plants, helps make them feel more secure.

I had the aro for about a week. If i go near the tank, it would freak out esp with the lights on...

Im gona try ge floating plant. Any suggestions on type of floatin plants?

I just got a baby Jar(3"). Everytime I open the blinds , he would go to that bright area and just stare outside and wouldn't leave. But still freaks out when I come close, lights on and off.

Cheap plastic aquarium plants will float just fine.
