Go a 17 inch arowana on Saturday it is now Tuesday and hasn't eaten yet should I be worried .. He was said to be fed shrimp floating pellets and night crawlers.. I threw in some super worms and pellets and hasn't eaten anything

Not uncommon for an aro when re homed, they can go for weeks without feeding. I have never had a fish starve to death in the presence of food, resist the urge to overfeed. For me, live crickets and hikari jumbo carnisticks has always done the trick

Just give him some time. Prop still going through new tank sindrone. Trust me, he won't starve himself, eventually it'll eat just be patience my friend!

My 11" flowerhorn took weeks to eat pellets. He wasn't eating anything at all until I gave him shrimp. Took him a month or two to eat pellets. Some fish are stressed out and some fish are picky.

Arowana are well known for their hunger strikes. I had one not eat for 1.5 months and had no issues, and one day just like nothing started eating like normal. This is very common, I am surprised you haven't come across this in your research before buying the fish.
