ive got an silvr wo refuses to eat i have him now over 4 monbths an growing good and eating like crazy .

but in a day i cam home and he was super scared adn won't eat .
he swims normal and breather normal.

i waited 4 day's for him to start eating again.

nothing is changed sinds 6 months greets

this happened to my jar for a while, how are the water params? havent you been overfeeding him? or have you tried varying his diet?

are there any tankmates that may be stressing fish out? water temp? whens the last time you did a water change? what do you normally feed the fish?

i alwy's do an water change ervery week at about the asme time

discus food scrimp , smal fich ( dead frozen ) mussels , gamerus red , red wurms etc

i was feeding him quite alot . but he ate good and after an hour he wanted more , he stole food from my oscar so that kinda hungry and he nicked the food as it was defrosting
and don't think that the prob , becouse he can't do that anymore becouse i have put the food on the other side

nope not any , wen it's feeding time some times there is a litle race for a peace of food but that's al , very easy oscar

give it a few more days and see if it eats. i have had fish that stopped eating for a few weeks. keep a close eye on it. keep us updated on behavior and physical appearance. maybe add some aquarium salt to the water.

check your aro for signs of tiredness,eg. stay near side of tank, bottom of tank without moving like its sleeping. if there are signs of this perhaps ur aro has come down with an internal bacteria infection which makes it not eat.but if its healthy and swimming about there is nothing to worry about.juz add aquarium salt and maybe increase the temperature to let its food get digested faster and when its hungry it will eat again.try not to stress it out too much.

this is normal when aros get to a certain age dont worry

just carry on doing the normal water changes and feed the tank as normal

the aro may go off his food for 2-3 weeks dont panic this is what aros do its like they get bored

okey , i think i soud not be worried becouse he ate before this like an champion so we wil see.
He just swims on top lik alway's most of the time in a corner ease swimming and from time to time he goes and swims back and front in the tank

greetings
strange i never thought be attached to my fich
