i just got him hes a 11"er in a 55 gallon and when i got him he had full barbs and now i dont know why but most likely ramming tank both of them fell half way off what can i do? thanks

probably because the tank is too small for the aro. might want to look into a larger tank if you intend to keep the aro for life
If theres aggressive tankmates. that could happen.. I've seen Silver arowans from my LFS that loose them due to other Arowana around...
Barbels don't just fall off... also. arowana's like not to have anything in their way when they swim.. so if you have fake plants... it could get caught.. Althought that sounds like an unlikely happening...

i hope you have a bigger tank. min 180 gallon. if not take the fish to a lfs or sell it to someone who can provide a big home for it or it will die in a 55 gallon.
Well, in a 55 gallon, theres really no space for it to swim, so its not that surprising it would ram into the glass. Might be time to get a new tank...
