Well i had 2 arowanas in my 120 gallon tank, i was waiting for my 75 gallon to cycle..
Now that i have moved them the smaller one went into the 75 gallon and seems normal still eating etc.. But my bigger one is acting weird he wont eat from the top of the water and is swimming near the bottom to middle level. and for some reason wont eat from my hand now :( any one know whats wrong with him? he seems fine hes just acting like lonley i guess

theres no symptoms of ick fin rot agression nothing its weird

I was thinking he is missing his friend and i cant tell if ones male female or what.. But about 3 days before i seperated them they were doing fine and swimming near eachouther. idk ill keep an eye on him for the next 2 days or so and see how he is. i might try putting the arow back in but im not sure.

im working on my 10 gallon planted tank (guppie M&F) project right now so idk :(

Do you have anything with the aro in the 120?

It sounds weird, but I had the same issues with my clown knives....one @ ~12" and one ~6". They were in the same tank and I tried to separate them and they both quit eating...wouldn't even touch feeders or nightcrawlers. This lasted a week till I couldn't take it anymore and put them back in the same tank together. Shortly after that they both started eating normally again...

heh well i put them back in and they are both eating again every now and then there will be the arowana nipping the outher but that rarley happens now. they both swim near the bottom of my tank now and swim through and around all my structure in the tank. i dropped a neon tetra in there and my baby oscar got to it before anyone else it was funny :) they are looking alot better though
