Of course it is, you are looking at something more along the lines of a pond.

I wouldnt try in anything smaller than a pond. But youd also have to have a breeding pair, an Im not sure how to sex them. Good luck if you try though.

Sorry I haven't replied, I didn't get an e-mail notice. Thanks everyone for the info, I'm thinking something in the neighbourhood of a pair in a 1500g tank. Does anyone know if you can raise 10 or so and let them pair off? Or will they just kill each other?
