Arowana

Hey Guys!

Can I keep 4 arowanas together? I have a 8x6x4ft tank/tub. They measure 3-4inches.

• Can I keep them all together?
• Will I need to have them in a new tank when they get older?

The species of arowana is Chili Arowana/ Red Arowana.

Its possible but do keep in mind each and every Aro has its own character and temperament. Also be prepared for less then perfect Aros due to fights etc.

For Aro comm then the more number in group the more change of success, you are at bare minimum number requirement. Again, the community will fall a part if there is a jerk Aro in the group. A member here comm. 9 Jar Aro together with great success so have fun and good luck

I'm guessing none of your stock is destined to be kept permanently in any of the tanks you've asked about in previous threads, since you seem to be an online store...

In which case, that should be okay for your purposes, but as mentioned just gotta watch out for fighting, since most stores over here i've seen sell aros, normally keep them one per tank, even those they hide in the back of the store that arent for sale...
