I caught a Chorus Frog out of my yard, is this a safe frog to feed to my arowana?

Why risk it? I feed my aro chopped tilapia, shrimp, scallops, and night crawlers. Safe, and readily available.

Agreed,if in doubt toss it out.A buddy has an aro that loves night crawlers and their value as a fish food is no secret.

That's for sure!! If you want to see a fish grow so fast that it scares you, feed an arowana nightcrawlers with every meal!!

How do you prepare your crawlers to feed? Just rinse them and chop them up?

I throw a couple, well several as I'm feeding rays too, into a cup with some water, chop with scissors and rinse them with a sprayer thru a screen. I rinse them a few times and toss them in for the fish. Usually mixed with tilapia, scallops, and shrimp
