My arowana recently lost a half of its barbel. and you can see white at the end of it. Is there anything I should be worried about disease wise?

my aro got half of his barbell bitten by another fish. much like yours it turned white and then fell off. in 2-3 weeks it has almost completely grown back! i consider myself lucky seeing there are so many stories where they never grow back. all i can suggest is keep your perams in tip top shape and if you feel the need add some melafix or salt, but i dont think its neccesary.
