how well do aros cope with current? right now i have one powerhead on the bottom and one i just moved to the top.. about 3" below the water surface? will my aros be ok with a 850 gph powerhead at the top?

IMO Aros would get used to the current but 850 should be fine, I use to have 1000 gph blasting and my Aro didn't get stressed out(just depends on the Aro's size-my smallest with the 1000 gph blasting was 10")-they later got adjusted to the current and swim the currents with ease. My Aros tend to play with currents and bubbles. :)

idk about powerheads but my fx5 and G6 spew out a good force and even when im filling the tank up with a hose they seem to just shake it off like it doesnt effect them at all, mainly because theyre so streamline they just cut through it

i put my 4 inch aro in 2footx1foot tank with 8watt 1800L power head, heck it can't afford the current

a 1800L power head for a 2x1 tank? that's insane.:WHOA:
