Arowanas Barbles

Hi Guys

I have noticed that one of my Arowanas Barbles on the front of his mouth is starting to flop and bend i was wondering if there is any way to stop this from happening ? or any way to cure him ?

Also is this a threat to his health ?

Likely from hitting the glass or lid. Try filling the end areas of the tank with tall plants like vallisneria or crinum, or better yet try lillies if there's enough light.

They should grow back normal in time unless it is also some kind of nutritional deficit. A 6' tank is going to be on the small side soon. Plans for something larger?
