Hello mfk members I have an Arowana that damaged its tail. Minor but I still can't sit still because I can't just leave him like that. It's tail got damaged because of cichlids I used to have. They would nib on him and mess with him, so couple days ago I took them out and set up a new tank for them. I was wondering if anyone can help me? What should I do make its fina heal? Or should I leave it to heal by itself? Thank you so much

It will heal quickly! Treat w/ stress coat to speed up process, also warmer water 80° woll help along with low nitrates

Arowana fins heal fast in pristine water. No need to add anything unless there are open wounds. If your going to bump the heat up make sure the aeration is adequate so no depletion of dissolved oxygen.

It will heal, but keep up with the water changes and add some stress coat. Good luck.
