i have a silver arowana and it has just started to change colour it is going red could anyone give me any ideas why it feeds on prawns,mussles ,primer and worms it looks very healthy and is very lively so i dont think its due to stress he is about 9/10 inches long and in a 8 ft tank

It's sounds like its turning a red colour due to astaxanthin (a carotenoid) contained in the seafood you are feeding.
