Yeah,I've been there.I had a young jardini take the jump of death.....Well I learned my lesson. Every tiny hole needs to be closed.
.....and I had a gar eat a jar....
There are 100's of posts of this happening. Warnings everywhere you read about aros. You think the countless times this happens people would actually get it in there head that they do in fact jump. Sorry for your loss.
Happens to a lot of us. Lost a 28" silver and a 14" black. You have to weight down your tops. No exceptions.
yeah i agree, this is the fate of too many aros. Every few weeks a post like this comes up. Sucks sorry you had to learn the hard way
Even a cheap 30-50 reptile screen would have sufficed! I personally clear coated mine just incase but still if you got the $$ to buy a aro and a home big enough u should def have some type of lid mechinism. Oh well no need u learned sorry and GL!
