Arowannas at LFS.

I saw a 12" to 14" at the lfs today and was wondering if $ 50.00 was a good prices . I'm just starting to get into the big fish and have a 125 gallon tank cycling and was thinking about starting with getting one of these .

That is a good price but 125 gallon would be too small for an Aro.

Im guessing its a silver? In socal i get them to 25-30 bucks that size

If its a silver thats a pretty decent price around here...ive seen 8" ones go for about 80 bucks...but ive also seen 6" for 15. It all depends or area.

I've also seen Silvers that size around my neighborhood for about $35-50ish. Haven't seen any black arrows in a while though.

The cheapest jardini i've seen so far is a 2-3" for $30.

On a random note - I was on my way home from a road trip and dropped by a random lfs I happend to be passing. They were selling a green arrow, 4-5" for $600. Seemed kinda steep. Don't think it was certif. either. haha I wish i had that kinda money. I'd buy a tank with it!
