dont get me wrong, i love fishkeeping but sometimes i just drive myself nuts thinking bout what fish to keep, what to sell even though i dont want too, and what im getting next.:nilly: it sucks when i got extra tanks but nowhere to set em up, and the tanks in my house are either sectioned off to keep diff fish apart, or fish that need a bigger tank.

im done with the "true" monsters, like my silver aro, i just dont see myself being able to house it for life happily. shure i could keep it in a 240, but thats cruel. but im keeping my new dovii pair, they rock!:headbang2

another thing that really bugs me is how some people try to sell things for more than what their worth, or not help out other members. i only sell anything fish related on mfk and its almost always at a loss because i feel that its the right thing to do, help others out. but i also have a few pretty cool members that i enjoy doing "business" with.

i think i just need to downsize my stock and concentrate on a select "few" of my fish.

sorry for the long pointless post, i just had to let it out.:(

I know how you feel bro.
This is going to sound really... well... un-manly but one time I was so-overwhelmed with this hobby, I got a headache, about threw up, and I think cried one time.
Losing 36 fish at one time is never fun...

I know how you feel about selling fish. I usually sell them at a loss, or give them away, as long as I know they are going to a good home.

its called wonsizing the addiction many people hav tries but all have failed

I think everyone has been overwelmed at some point. But it will take really sitting down and deciding what your goal/fish you want to raise to decide what goes and what stays. And you shouldn't make a rash decision about that because fish and fish accesories you usually don't sell for what you paid for it. But your crys don't fall on deaf ears. We've all been there I think.

Also don't worry about the people that overcharge, there will always be those. I think most of the people on CL overcharge on a constant basis. But it's more due to ignorance of resale value and not wanting to get rid of it "that bad" then a true desire to stick it to someone.
