Can a arro live in a 150 or 180 for life???

Nope, people are telling me that my 120 is to small.. i have an arrow i just bought today thats like 6" But you could leave him in there for a year or two then u should upgrade.. but i think that fish addapt to their home.. example would be..

a 120 gallon tank. with an arow in it. the arow will only get big enough to move freely thru it.

but i dont know much about fish.

I wish that were true, but it isn't. The aro may grow more slowly, but eventually it will get deformed and more than likely die.

lookyloo - you're wrong, regardless of the maintenance a 180 simply doesn't have enough room for a full grown aro.

wrong.
The only reason that fish "grow to the size of the tank" is because they die before they can "outgrow it"

silver aros can live in a 180 for life. They can turn more easily than other aros.. I know I will get flamed here but in all reallity they can. it's just not ideal. ask most of the aro owners on this site what their aros are in and they will say a 2ft wide tank.

Yah Delgado has his beauty of an aro in a 180g and it looks perfectly fine to me. He has had her in it since i met him on here(last year) and no problems. Actually his laid eggs in his tank.
