arrow shoaling with armatus,,,

I have 2 arrows and one armatus in a tank and one sits on the bottom and hangs out in the driftwood next to the armatus. while the other hangs out on the top in the corner... is this normal?

they are the same size in length however the fatter one is constantly picking on the other one... is it possible for him to kill him? one is going in another tank as soon as the fish that are in there are too big to fit in his mouth...

if an aro sits on the bottom, which it should never do, it is because it is being picked on by the other aro, or is sick. general rule with aros is to have one or three or more to spread out the aggresion.hell yeah one aro could kill another, there sneaky beasts. now on the armatus i hear they dont do well with other long silvery fish like an aro because they see them as a threat, and will proboably snap one day and kill your aros or vise versa.

I will take one out and the other will join another group as soon as they are big enough to not fit in his mouth.....

they spend time at the top swimming as well.....

ok i pulled the smaller one out and i' debating (he's in the bucket now) weather to put him in my large tank with small fish (2" pbass) or let him sweat it out in a 55g until they are bigger....

i was not trying for a co-hab.. a fellow armatus owner said he had an arrow in there with his fish...

i was simply looking to try some new fish,, i got a deal on 3
