Beltway aquarium in greenbelt mall has a few black arowanas if you talk to the owner he can probably get you what you need.

Yeah blacks are in there they're right next to the two big doviis on the wall to farthest Right. they were in there with gars I believe and something else. I went last week and there were a few atleast 6"

Yeah they usually have good stuff and will work with you just don't have the best water quality.

Fish average life span is 2 weeks from there. So many dead fish...

I can't argue too much but I have some in my tank from there and some that didn't make it even two weeks. With them tho if the fish Is acting funny I return it for another.
