Does anyone have one of these or know much about them? a google didn't help much other then tell me they're from south america? I can't even find a picture of one of these fish, only drawings.

Came up with this photo when I typed in Hypopomus artedi, but I don't think it's right. Can't find a good shot. Curious, why are you looking for info on this species?
Distributor has had them on the list at a reasonable price. considered haveing one ordered for me. But I don't like blindly getting a fish, particulalry something as touchy as a knife.
