I live 15 minutes from the Mississippi river and I didn't make it out catfishing once last year! After seeing this I am definitely not letting that happen again.

Nice cats, but they are tiny to some of the bigger cats like Filamentosums, Wels, Mekongs, Paroons, etc!

HUGE for the area. Going on the Mississippi, you are lucky to catch a 55 lb blue, much less a 100 lb blue. Great catches. I will be sure to get to the Miss. River this year. I have caught a 53 lb. blue on the Missouri River.

29 is still good, especially for a lake. You don't see many big blues in lakes, most of the big ones are in rivers.

The lakes flood all the time and they border a natural big river.
I think they get trapped and live fat on all the easy food.
