Do artificial insemination works with cichlids? like what salmon and koi breeders do? will it works if I milk the sperm of my RD and spread it to the eggs? Did anyone tried this?

Unless eggs are inseminated with milt within seconds of being "laid" it will not work.
Since fish like Salmon are egg scatterers, there is need for more of a window before hardening.
Cichlids need to partner up, their eggs harden very quickly, and become impermeable, a copasetic male must be hovering close at hand to fertilize them before that happens.
