Anyone ever buy sand from their before? I'm looking for purple sand and they're are by far the cheapest I've come across but i don't wanna get scammed

I would be worried that it is dyed with not-fish-safe coloring. I could imagine it turning your water purple....

Not sure if its aquarium safe, but it is non toxic since its made for children usage also. I've heard of people using colored play sand with no ill effects, so this stuff is probably safe I reckon.

I just checked the site's FAQ and find this.

Can I use your colored sand in my child's goldfish bowl?

Yes our colored sand is safe for and is used in aquariums and goldfish bowls. Our colored sand is colorfast, the color won't fade or run.

My kids lay with this stuff, so just be aware that its really fine. Freaking things gets everywhere!
