what are you paying for this tank??

:ROFL:That bad huh? Using the $1.00 per gallon rule always applied to tanks up to 100g. In this case, I am below $1.00 per gallon and figured it might be a decent project, but if I need to dump in a heep of cash, I will back out.

Is it the way the picture's taken or are there ALOT of scratches? I think getting all the scratches out will be harder to fix than the crack. I think the easiest way to fix the crack is to just use acrylic solvent and paste another piece of acrylic from the inside. You can then cover it with some type of background in the back. drys quickly easy to use

get it at tap plastics or any hardware store

Thank you sir. I just didn't want to walk in to a nightmare. That seems like an awfully big crack especially on a pressure holding side.

Scratches I can handle. I have polished 2 tanks so far with amazing results. A combination of multi grained sandpaper, buffing mud, high speed buffer, and acrylic finishing compounds. If it was just scratches, I would not be so apprehensive.

the whole tank has tiny stress cracks all throughout it in the pic with the scratches, that tank looks like trash, an explosion waiting to happen.
I think that is what I was waiting to here. Thanks.

ya I have to agree with that quote... I would avoid it if I were you it just looks like scrap plexi glass to me now...
