As in roosters?
I used to show chickens. I also had alot of roosters which would show in their own category. Often times i would take the most aggressive males with me to new mexico and fight them. I dont care if any one gets POed about it.Its really REALLY good money.
From the shows alone i probably made around 1200 dollars. I had a grand champion hen that sold for 500. Then from fighting i would probably make another 500 dollars from a single bird. The winners (which i often had) would breed with my hens to make more show birds. The more agressive...you get the point.

We've got tons of gamecocks around here. Everyone gets excited when they go against the tigers, like it's some sort of really big deal, but I never saw what all the fuss was about.
