asian and silver together

Hey everyone. Ive been trying to find some info on whether i can introduce an asian aro to my 320 that currently houses a 20" silver. My plan is to grow out the asian in a smaller tank and then pass him into the bigger. Now my question is: do i have a shot at pulling this off? or should i start looking for a home for my silver?
the thing is that this is the first time i can get my hands on an asian aro and i have been wanting one forever! so i definetly want one.

I think the silver will bug/ or worst kill it ...it would of been dif if you had them at a small size

i know, it would have been awesome to be able to have both of them. that sucks, ill have to find the silver a new home

It will be like any other arowana combination. You wont know until you try it. The one thing you must make sure of is that you have a way to house them separately if things don't work. Good luck and keep us posted.
