I am going to receive on Wednesday an Asian Albino Red Tail Catfish and a South American Red Tailed Catfish. They will be in a 240 gallon for 6 months then moved to my new 2350 gallon pond. I know the Asian is aggressive but can it be done in a pond this big. Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks, I have heard at times when raised as small they are more tolerate of tankmates. They will both be 2 inches.

I am going do disagree with disk on this one. That sizeof pond should be significant in size to reduce the aggression. Just make sure there are caves so that the Asian can claim one and the rtc can have his own to. Aripimag (spelling? Guy with he 52k gal tank) had one in his 15k with little problem. BUT you might have to worry in a few years because I'm pretty sure the sa red tail will outgrow the Asian to the point of being able to eat him. I'm not to sure what would happen in the 240 though why not just put them in the pond to start?

They might. Ive heard 24" I've never owned one so I can't say but from what everyone vie seen or talked to that has owned them. They grow substantially slower than the sa variant
