Just curious, I hear alot of LFS's saying it's possible to get a "License" for asian arowanas, and im sure other illegal fish as well, as long as it's for educational purposes.... Does this mean, I could be a teacher and have one in my classroom and it would be considered legal? Anyone have any more info on this?

There are no licenses allowed to my knowledge. Only legal way to keep one would be a museum or public aqaurium. Even then, they are only aquired through raids and busts of smugglers and or raids of people with thier illegal posession.

only aquariums can get with paper works

go to jail too

That's really crazy. so what your saying is, if someone owns one, and CITES finds out, they can actually go into their house, search for the fish, and, if the fish is found, slap you with a fine? Even if your not selling?
