Im looking for a tank for a asian aro what size width is good? I heard 2 feet?

Im looking at a tank that is 7x2x2 is that tank ok sizes for an asian aro for life? If not how long?

yeah im trying to find a tank with 3 foot width

but 7x3x3 would be perfect lol

does anyone else have any opinions?

Wider is better. 8*3*30 would be my ideal size, 3ft would be nice but with stand i think it will too too tall. Especially for cleaning n removing fish

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using MonsterAquariaNetwork App

i might get my hands on a 6x3x3
i dont mind the to tall part
is a 6x3x3 tank ok for an aro?

I have two asians in 8 foot tanks that both started out in 6 ft 180s. In my humble and honest opinion, a 6 foot tank is not long enough although many keep them in smaller tanks. If you want them to have the room to bolt without smashing lids when they get spooked, and they do, 8 feet is ideal. My gold used to smash the lids when he spooked in the 6 footer and hasn't hit the lids since being in the 8 footer. He spooks occasionally but goes the length of the tank instead of vertical.

One tank is 8x3x24 and the other is 8x2x2.

And to add, I'll be upgrading the 8x2x2 to an 8x3x2 for the red just to give him room to turn. They do not turn on a dime like silver aros do.

Red aros are diffrent they get bigger then a rtg

Im on another asian aro site and they say its a good size. Does anyone else want to share the opinion?

People cant get there facts right this is the 2nd time somebody told me there tank os 6x3x3 and its actully 6x2x2 lol
