i finally have my first asian arowana, he is named GUPPY and he is a green arowana. ill try to post some pics later. he arrived at my house last night, this morning i tried to feed him some SW, he ate only ate 2 pcs of SW.. is this still normal? by the way GUPPY's size is around 11-12 inches. and last question what is the best tankmate i could give to GUPPY? thnx guys.. :):):)

hw long uve been keeping ur aro? do let sometimes atleast 2mths before finding a tankmates...do post ur aro soon/later!! many luck :D
p/s...im also an arowana freak :) mine is a super-red & a silver

thnx manbai. by the way i also have 1 silver arowana, i hope that im going to have luck so maybe december im going to buy an RTG arowana. its cool that you have an SR. i coudnt afford an SR yet because im a student and i dont that much experience keeping an Asian arowana.

I have a 10 in RTG, I had 2 parrot fish in the tank when I introduced the RTG. One of them was big and it bullied the RTG to the point of me worrying it would get injured.
I took them out for about a month then reintroduced them (their tank was too small). The RTG was dominant from the go, it bit the biggest parrot on the face while it tried to compete for food. They leave the RTG alone now.
I would agree, let the aro get used to its home, and introduce any tank mates after some time. Especially if they are the type of fish that show a little aggression.

ah okay, i would let GUPPY settle then in to his tank before adding some tank mates, by the way is it okay if i would add some angel fish as GUPPY's tank mates?
