This is a question for those people that actually own a Asian arowana and have successfully kept them together with rays! What is the smallest size of Asian aro you have put with your adult rays and had success? Meaning the rays didn't eat the arowana!

it would really depend on the size of the stingray more than the aro. if it can fit the aro in its mouth, it's probably not safe.

i have a 28inch chilli red and even when new born pups are born in the tank over night they are safe

it all depends on the aro i think it would be a risk with a green or a banjar as they are more aggressive

a super red or a gold should be fine

I have some rays with a big aro right now, but when I had my baby I wouldn't really want to risk it.

From my very limited experience the baby arowana's seem to be sissy's... or maybe the ones I got where. My silver never really dominated the tank and the tinfoil barbs that were supposed to be dither fish ended up being too aggressive for it.

For the ray's the bigger the size I am guessing the bigger the chance of them attacking the smaller meal. It would just be a very expensive mistake if one night the rays wanted a midnight snack...
