im picking up a 55 from the $1 per gallon from petco tom and i am thinking since everyone, me included either has a south american or african cichlid tank, im gonna make this one a little different and go with a asian tropical style. i already have a red finned black shark or whatever you call it, 2 balla sharks, a peacock eel and a sun cat that more then likly will not go in unless somone says it will be ok, a red gourami, and 2 glass catfish. and i know most of those are from the whereabouts of asia. so i was wondering
1. are there any plecos from that area to keep the glass clean.
2. i wouldnt mind some clown loaches but i know everyone is gonna say they will get to big so i was wondering what other bottem dwellers i could use
3. if all this nonsensical madness will work as far as fish being together
4. what kind of layout would i use, rockey or planted or dw or what.
sorry for the barrage of ?s but i have never seen any of these types of tanks so i dont exactly know what im getting myself into lol. and im sure ill have more as the thread progresses and i will keep everyone posted if the interest is there
