Asian Green Arowana

hi, im new to this forum but was wondering..... does anyone know where i can find a green asian arowana in the UK because i have had no luck at all and i have asked most fish stores and nobody has any or seems to want to order me one. I can find the other more expensive ones but i don't have the money to spent £400 on a fish sadly. any help is apreciated

their is a shop called amwell that has a green aro for £150 give them a call they are in essex
 
sorry, its on reserved... By me... Its head ache, tryna find one thou! should have it home by next weekend!
 
no one imports green aros to the UK as their is no mark up on them
buy yourself a RTG you can pick one up for £350 and you will be much happyer with a RTG than a green in the long run

you get alot of fish with a RTG in someways they are as nice as a £1400 crossback

i would safe the extra money and get the RTG they are a great entry level asian aro that you will be very happy with the longer you have it

most people i know who brought green aros now have RTG
 
i would really like a rtg but the problem is the cash to start with and also that it would be stressful keeping such an expensive fish. ive never had an aro before and am still relatively new to fish keeping so i really only wanted to spend £100 but i guess if its not possible then i will get a jardini but have to risk the lives of the tankmates....:idea:
