Hi, decided agains a silver com. Was thinking about doing an asian green setup in my 96" long X 28" wide X 30" high tank 350 gallons 1321 litres.

Has lots of powerful filtration - turnover is just over 8 times an hour.

Can i do an asian green arowana community in this tank? I know they are the most aggressive of the asians so has anyone done this succesfully?

I was thinking of buying 6 all at about 4" - 6" long and growing them up together.

Any suggestions? Thanks, Adam

everyone knows that keeping them in a school of 6 will greatly reduce aggression...if u feed them heaps of DEAD food (not live) they shud be ok. pellets wud be perfect because it reduces aggression. definitely worth a try. GOOD LUCK!

would be very interesting to see, mate

chances are in your favor - same fish in a shoal ^^

Thanks guys, has anyone actually done this with success??

I am about to do something similar at the end of this November ^^

Currently got 3 silvers with jar and green (+bichir and motoro) though the aros are slightly bigger than your planned juveniles ...close enough i suppose

So, far jar is being bullied by one particular silver

i currently keep 4 silvers with one green and one jardini...seems ok...considering the fact that the jars and greens are much smaller than the silvers :s

I would love to see the pic of the tank after you get it up and running with the lil monsters~

as long as you dont mind fights go for it

you will always get some fights with any aro com tank

How's this. A com tank of greens in there but I decom it after I decided to shift to some other fishes in there.

Koji, nice tank mate!! How many greens were there in there?? How was the aggression between them and how big was the tank?

T1KARMANN - thanks for the advice, i understand there will be aggression between the aros, but am i right in thinking that they will not kill one another? As i would like to avoid this lol.

Mobatic - Yes, ill get pics of the setup for you all!!!

Thanks to the rest of you for all the help.

Also, what do you think is a reasonable price to pay for asian greens ? At about 4-6 inches. Thanks a lot folks, Adam
