i was wondering how much i should feed my cat. he is about 4 in.

2 every 2-3 days... get him beefheart, bloodworms, blackworms, earthworms, shrimp, pellets, etc...

You're supposed to wait 2-3 days, even with small cats? I usually feed my small ones two small meals a day until they hit the 10-12" mark, then start fasting them for 2-3 days.

You DO NOT wait 2-3 days with any baby monsters such as an asian redtail.

I fed my guy every day until he reached sixteen inches. From there, I started feeding every other day. The meals aren't as large as when he was younger, either.

I agree that it's not best to feed beefheart. Stick to fish filets, shrimp, squid, massivore, etc.

I've got a couple endlis that I feed beefheart to. They put on some serious mass with it but there is a noticeable difference in the speed at which they can digest it as compared to similar sized meals of tilapia.
