Any one know the whether or not aspen is a safe wood to use as drift wood?

very soft...not very good for "drift"wood...unless it is actually driftwood and then it is very soft.
Hardwood. Thats what you need for the aquarium...except for eucalyptus...unless its actually driftwood, then it prob would be okay...but I wouldnt use it, eucalyptus or aspen.
