I dont think I have seen them CB but every now and then some WC ones appear on a table at shows. That would be your best bet is to just keep an eye out for them.

A. tigris are fantastic animals. I used to work with about a hundred of them in research. They are good breeders if you keep them warm and give them a very hot basking spot. Also, if have to be careful mixing them together because they are cannibalistic and the victim does not have to be too much smaller. If you like A. tigris then you will probably also like A. tessalata. These are as large as A. tigris but have alot more pattern and are parthengenetic so you do not need to worry about cannibalism to get offspring.

Thanks, Yah iam willing to spend money on cb but if they're wc il just catch my own with a fishing license(which covers herp hunting).

I look into the other species also.

Thanks.

Also RMorrow, what are the basking temps 110F or is it higher?

A. tessalata sounds neat.

Our basking temps were near 140. Also give them lots of hiding spots to allow for the formation of several micro-niches and thermal gradients.

You might try Kingsnake.com and look in the classified section under lizards.
There used to be a place called Desert Specialties (not sure if they are still around), but they dealt more with wild caught desert reptiles than captive bred. A. tigris is bisexual, but A. tesselata as stated is parthenogenic and consists only of females.
Both are super cool.
