I'm thinking of putting them in my shrimp tank to get rid of all the limpets (tiny snail-like pests- shown in picture), but will they eat my baby shrimp? There are four in my planted tank and I was thinking of putting 1 in this tank temporarily. In just a few days all of the limpets on the glass are gone in the planted tank, so I was thinking of putting them in this tank too. Thanks for any help.

As far as I know Limpets arent even pests. Im not sure, supposedly assassins are shrimp safe. Ive heard if they can catch a weak/sick/vulnerable shrimp they will. But the shrimp are faster and usually move away. This is what I have heard though. Ive never kept them together. But like I say, limpets are harmless.

There must be 50 of them on the glass of my tank, and it's only 2 and a half gallons. They breed quickly and don't look nice... but yea, they're not actually real pests, just little annoying specks on the glass.

I`ve kept RCS`s with a couple of assisin snails, never had any problems.
Can`t say they have never eaten any, but I`ve never notced them feeding on the shrimp.
