Let me start by saying I like snails. I introduced Mystery Snails, Rams Horn and Nerite Snails. I didn't bother rinsing plants, because well snails are natural. So somewhere along the way, in a plant, I picked up an assassin snail and pond snails. Now I have a pretty cool colony of assassin snails who feast on baby snails. I am no expert, but I read all the time about assassin snails taking down a full sized Nerite or Mystery snail. I watch them often, but never seen them do more than pass each other. I can't imagine he could do any damage to my adult snails.

So you’re asking if they really can take down a full size mystery or nerite?

Yes, I am asking if anyone has had that happen to them.

Same, I have i think 4 assassins in my 60 which picked up some ram horns which then grew quickly in population, also have a couple nerites in there as well, they pass right by each other.
