Hey all...

I know MFK was established by and for members that had very large tanks and very large fish. But, in my short time here, it seems that things have changed somewhat. Of course, we still have our fish keeping Gods that have 4, 5 and 6 digit gallon tanks/ponds and I respect the world out of those guys for what they have accomplished!

I know many here like helping out people new to the hobby or even helping experienced fish keepers that are having a problem they haven't had before. I thought it would be a good idea to know what we're working with.

On the poll, please select the option that best represents your largest, established tank. This poll is for tanks only since ponds, etc. usually require a different knowledge base and skill set to maintain.

Select the largest tank you have that contains livestock and have had running for at least one month. You don't have to make a post if you don't wish to, or post away, either one! It will be interesting to see what the majority of us MFK members are working with!

Thanks!

Sure, of course :) This poll is about the tanks themselves, not the inhabitants. I just didn't want to count those that have 200g tanks in their garage and not set up yet. (Guilty lol)

my 3 125s are the biggest setup now. But there is a 210 in the garage I want to setup next summer!

Awesome! Congrats on the new tank! I am waiting for warm weather as well. I need to do some re-arranging to make room, plus I want to move some tanks at the same time. Not looking forward to carrying 7 tanks down the basement stairs lol.

500g, 8' x 4' x 25"

Personally, I do not define a monster fish keeper by the size of your tank(s) or livestock. I think of it as how active you are in the hobby of keeping fish. If you have a strong interest in keeping fish and invest a lot of your time and money in doing so, you are a monster fish keeper in my book.

IMO, the person with ten 30 gallon tanks up and running is every bit as much of an MFK'er as the person with a 300 gallon set up.

My 220 has been set-up about 6 months. Before it, my biggest tank was a 150.

only a small 70g, planning to upgrade to a 200g by next year :)
