hi there
1 year ago i got 6 Astatheros robertsoni.
they was small fish with 1 inch or so, all F1.
2 weeks ago 2 of them get out from the group and start to clean a rock in front of the tank.
for my surprise some day later i wake up and they was lawing eggs on that rock.
for the first spwan was a very big one.
i thinq there was 300 to 400 eggs on that rock.
i was stuned with this cause i do not found much info about this particular fish doing spawns.
some bad pictures of the rock with eggs and parents with fry on comunity tank.
they was laying the eggs on this pictures
seems robertsoni are not agressive and possessive with the eggs and fry like other central american cichlids. but was their first time and they have done some nice job on this tanq.

i got 2 movies of them, didnt edit them yet.
1 is from them laying the eggs.
if u guys are interested on some infos about their behavior, tanq mates and whater conditions, just let me know.
