Astatotilapia Burtoni

[1974Pantera]

Along with my three new Ruti Is., I got one male Astatotilapia "Burtoni".
Found in the surronding region of Lake Tanganyika and Lake Kivu, I have always wanted some.

I will try to get some clean shots of him but I am still a proud papa!

He's about 1.5" and fast like a rocket, it was hard to even get this shot:

Anyway, burtoni make really good synodontis hosts.

I'm really happy with him and considering that he's only 1.5", his color isn't too bad.

He's got quite the personality...and if he would ever sit still???? One of the most active juveniles I have ever seen.
