Danh;1516883; said:I got two of them last Sunday. They are 5-6" in a 30g with a penguin 330 on it. They also stay in the current. I am thinking of adding a powerhead. I love them... They look so dumb, but they are very selective with their food so far. They have only eaten the larger stuff I have put in with them. It's like they don't want to waste the energy for a small meal.

They do love to swim into the current but also tend to take a break and just rest on the bottom in the calmer water on occassion. I had trouble getting mine to eat at first because he doesn't leave his corner very often, so I just started hand feeding him. I just shake a piece of market shrimp or silverside in front of him and he takes it.

As soon as I put the shrimp pieces in front of his face he was all over it. Once you get them eating they dont want to stop, so you have to regulate their food, or they will regurgitate it if you feed them too much.
