They are driftwood catfish.. so yea they prefer to hide lol.

I rarely see them, they are completely nocturnal.

They used to hangout beside the filter earlier, after I added the tile caves, they have taken up residence in there.

the one I kept in my catfish/goby community tank was more active than the one's I kept alone.

If you remove the hiding spot and add some floating plants then they’ll hover in formation. Won’t be actively swimming but they’ll be comfortable.
