Hello everyone, I'm from Brazil and here basically almost all stingrays are WC, I've been looking around for a way to be sure they don't have any IP at all, so far the most cost effective treatment I've found over here was from Levamisole Hydrochloride at 2 mg/l in two 24 hours bath with 14 days between them as suggested by Dr. Roy Yanong (thanks JD for posting this info on some old threads).
Just wanted to hear if anyone has some sort of protocol for WC rays and deworming them, Praziquantel is a ***** to get a hold of here, at least without Pyrantel Pamoate or Febantel mixed in.
I've been thinking of doing Fenbendazole with 25 mg/kg thrice a week per three weeks as recommended in the Prophilaxys and quarentine chapter at the Elasmobranch Husbandry Manual I.
