Yes, unfortunately certain SA/CA cichlids are like the proverbial chickens teeth. No problem when it comes to Africans.

I've always thought Jags were cool. Over here in Cali, they don't sell them as Jaguar Cichlids. They sell them as Managuanese at 1" to 2" They don't really show any pattern until 4" so they're just a small silverish fish in a lot of people's eyes. I think over here, you actually have to "know" these fish before you buy them.
